Responsibilities
- Undertake patient consultations and physical examinations, and assessments, and plan treatment requirements through clinics at a minimum of 4-5 times per week including evening clinics.
- Conduct CPET and provide consultation for patients through weekly clinics
- Liaise with other doctors, healthcare professionals, and non-medical staff to administer effective treatment of diabetes in the context of clinical care and research
- Write detailed patient reports and records; ensure accuracy and up-to-date status of records, medical reports, discharge summaries, and all required
- Participate and lend expertise, and advice in working groups/committees that contribute to the DDI mission, vision and values
- Ensure confidentiality of patient data obtained through clinics and research studies
- Develop policies & procedures for clinical care and clinical research unit
- Develop leaflets, patient awareness materials, and promotions
- Performs all other relevant duties as assigned
